Mass General Research Study: Effectiveness and safety of fluoxetine for the treatment of depression in adults with Down syndrome

Does your adult child with Down syndrome have symptoms of
depression?
​
The Massachusetts General Hospital at the Lurie Center is currently
recruiting for a new research study that will evaluate the effectiveness
and safety of the drug fluoxetine for the treatment of depression in
adults with Down syndrome.
Participants must be:
  • 18 to 45 years of age
  • diagnosed with Down syndrome
  • have symptoms of depression
